Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a 14-bed medical-surgical unit, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications accurately and safely
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs as needed
- Adjust and monitor specialized medical equipment, interpreting and recording measurements
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and promptly report adverse reactions to medications or changes in patient condition
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Oklahoma
- Experience working in a medical-surgical setting preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration, wound care, and medical equipment
- Ability to interpret vital signs and clinical measurements
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working night shifts in a hospital setting
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification a plus
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
