Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 nights per week, night shift (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.), including weekends and holidays as needed. Float required between campuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for medical-surgical and telemetry units, including assessment, planning, and execution of nursing interventions.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and utilize rapid response teams as necessary.
• Administer oxygen therapy, manage peripheral lines, and follow isolation precautions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care and compliance with hospital protocols.
• Utilize electronic medical records system for documentation and patient management.
• Support patients with respiratory conditions, post-surgical recovery, and chronic illnesses, ensuring timely interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts and float between facilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience.
• Experience caring for a diverse patient population, including respiratory, surgical, and hospice patients.
• Strong understanding of ICU protocols and emergency response procedures.
