Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Nights, 13-week assignment, Overnight shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Operate ultrasound equipment utilizing sound waves to create images of internal body structures
- Create accurate images of bones, organs, and tissues for assessment
- Perform typical procedures such as imaging of internal organs and musculoskeletal structures
- Work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Follow departmental protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) license
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) license
- Minimum of 2 years hospital experience as an Ultrasound Tech
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (not required, but preferred)
- Experience working with GE, Discovery 450, X-Ray, MRI, and CT equipment
- Ability to work night shifts including weekends and holidays
