Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

- Charlottesville, VA
Schedule / Job Type
- Night shift, 13-week contract, 36 or 48 hours per week, night shifts only, working 4 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical review and assessments in the emergency room setting
- Provide direct patient care to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and adults
- Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality patient outcomes
- Manage patient documentation and maintain accurate records during shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid VA nursing license (can submit pending license)
- Current certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (TNCC can be pending but must be obtained before start)
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center, including some pediatric experience
- Ability to work night shifts and to commit to 2 out of 3 winter holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous emergency room or critical care nursing experience
- Experience working in fast-paced hospital environments
