Full-time, contract, on-site, weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), days shift
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI scans on patients using Siemens equipment, including Siemens Vida 3T and 1.5 Tesla scanners
- Perform 12-20 exams per day, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Screen patients for implants and contraindications, following safety protocols
- Take call one night per week to support the department’s needs
- Collaborate with a small team in a fast-paced, short-term acute care hospital setting
- Float within scope to sister facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification and MRI specialty certification (ARRT Advanced Cert preferred)
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience with Siemens XA 60 platform or equivalent
- Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment and screening implants (excluding pacemakers)
- Pending state license accepted
- Must be able to work weekends and take on-call responsibilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a geriatric and obese patient population
- Comfort working in a small department with multiple MRI scanners
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
