  • Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 13 to 26-week contracts, opportunity for overtime and float assignments

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage care for patients on medical-surgical and orthopedic units, including dysrhythmia management and airway protocols
  • Administer medications, including drips and blood products, and care for central lines
  • Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
  • Utilize electronic charting systems (EPIC) for documentation
  • Respond to rapid response team activations and participate in coverage during critical events
  • Float to similar units and alternate care locations as needed within inpatient settings

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Medical Surgical or Orthopedics
  • Current pediatric and adult life support certifications (BLS, ACLS preferred)
  • Ability to manage dysrhythmias and familiarity with non-invasive airway management
  • Experience with peripheral line care, isolation precautions, and electronic charting (EPIC)
  • Must pass EKG testing prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • ACLS certification and interpretation of dysrhythmias
  • Management of drips, central line care, and blood products administration
  • Previous traveler experience is not required but preferred

  • RTO (Return to Office) after booking is not permitted and is not allowed to be worked out onsite; additional RTO could lead to contract cancellation
  • Candidate must reside at least 70 miles from the facility; include a permanent address in profile submission
  • Contract staff may be assigned to storm, hurricane teams, or respond during catastrophic events; may be required to work during disasters
  • Scheduling is managed by the unit manager, with availability for 36 or 48-hour night shifts, every other weekend shifts may be required
