Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modify radiation treatment plans for diverse patient populations, including pediatric, adolescent, and adult cases.
• Perform beam modifying and positioning tasks such as block cutting, image registration, and using beam modifiers like wedges.
• Utilize advanced dosimetry and QA systems, including IMRT, VMAT, and secondary MU calculations, ensuring accurate treatment delivery.
• Operate and maintain linear accelerators (Varian Eclipse, TrueBeam, TrueBeam Edge) with proficiency in treatment planning systems such as Pinnacle and Eclipse.
• Conduct pretreatment procedures including 4D CT simulation, image fusion, and motion management techniques like respiratory gating.
• Ensure radiation safety and quality assurance for complex treatment protocols, including SBRT and stereotactic radiosurgery.

Required Qualifications

• Certification in Radiation Dosimetry (CMD preferred).
• Experience with linear accelerators such as Varian Eclipse, TrueBeam, and Edge.
• Proficiency with treatment planning systems like Eclipse and Pinnacle.
• Knowledge of QA procedures for IMRT, VMAT, and SBRT treatments.
• Familiarity with advanced imaging techniques including CT, MRI, PET, and image-guided therapy.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience treating benign brain tumors, craniospinal, and respiratory gated treatments.
• Knowledge of Brachytherapy and computerized isodose plan generation.
• Strong skills in dose calculation, field shaping, and image registration.
• Ability to perform DVH analysis and evaluate treatment plans against clinical protocols.
