Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to inpatient rehabilitation patients, including stroke and orthopedic cases.
- Deliver intensive therapy sessions, typically up to 3 hours per day, to assist patients in regaining daily functional skills.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans for patients admitted for acute care or rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and smooth discharge planning.
- Work on a 13-week travel assignment with start date around November 25, 2025, and scheduled daily shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in occupational therapy.
- Ability to work independently in a hospital or rehab setting.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Commitment to patient care and clinical excellence.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with stroke and orthopedic rehabilitation patients.
- Previous travel therapy experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of inpatient rehab protocols and procedures.
