Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, working days (Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), flexible on-call and holiday coverage
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical setting with 30+ ORs and advanced robotic equipment
- Assist with general, gynecology, urology, orthopedic (excluding spine), and plastics surgeries, both open and robotic procedures
- Support patient preparation, anesthesia, and post-operative care within a high-paced environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and tech staff to ensure patient safety and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Valid RN license in Texas or appropriate state license
- Experience with robotic surgery procedures is essential
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neuro surgery or transplant experience
- Familiarity with complex surgical equipment such as DaVinci, Mako, Rosa robots, and other advanced tools
- Flexible and positive attitude to adapt to rotating shifts and on-call duties
