Registered Nurse - Oncology
Location: Janesville, WI
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, days, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, holistic nursing care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with policies, standards, and legal requirements.
• Document patient information accurately and comprehensively, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Participate in department performance improvement activities and support system-wide initiatives.
• Support patient and family education to improve understanding and engagement in care.
• Assist with telephone triage, respond to patient calls, and manage variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  Required Qualifications:
• Valid Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy (ONS) certification.
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience in oncology infusion nursing.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong critical thinking and patient safety focus.
