Tech IR/Special Procedures
Job Title
- IR/Special Procedures Technologist
Location
- Peoria, IL
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Day shifts, 4 days per week, including night/weekend/call shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and setup of IR and special procedures labs, including pre-op and recovery suites
- Scrub in for vascular, neuro, drains, and lines procedures, passing supplies and maintaining sterile field
- Setup and takedown of procedure rooms per department standards
- Operate and monitor Phillips equipment using EMR system (EPIC)
- Collaborate with charge nurses and staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Radiologic Technologist license or proof of application process
- BLS and ARRT certifications
- Experience with vascular, neuro, and line procedures is preferred
- Ability to pass a negative drug screen (OSF policy)
- Last four digits of SSN and middle initial required for submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior IR or special procedures lab experience
- Familiarity with Phillips monitors and EPIC EMR system
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment
