Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Perform and document patient assessments, monitor cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes appropriately
- Pass required ECG/Telemetry tests and medications test during onboarding, with a focus on compliance and preparedness
- Float to similar units and overflow areas as needed to support hospital staffing requirements
- Adhere to safety protocols, including flu vaccination requirements and proper use of personal protective equipment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam (85% passing score, no re-sits)
- Current ACLS certification obtained through AHA
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Knowledge of Critical Paths and experience as a Charge Nurse preferred

- Prior experience with critical care or telemetry units
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and ongoing education

Additional Notes
- BILH coversheet required at submission; Flu vaccination required during compliance
- Shift: 3 days per week, 12-hour day shifts, weekends and holidays expected
- Candidates must complete a pass/fail ECG/Telemetry and Medications test during onboarding via Zoom; no re-sits allowed
- Orientation on a biweekly schedule
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers accepted)
- Guarantee hours: 72 hours biweekly; does not include on-call time
- Travelers previously employed by Beth Israel Lahey Health within last six months are not eligible
