Registered Nurse - Cardiac Stepdown

Full-time, Days shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients in a 33-bed cardiovascular/stepdown unit with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as STEMI/NSTEMI, CHF, post-cardiothoracic surgery, and arrhythmias
• Administer IV antiarrhythmic medications and support patients with noninvasive ventilation and peripheral vascular issues
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes across a variety of cardiac cases
• Adapt to float requirements by providing coverage for Med/Surg or ER units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar setting
• Experience with CVCU or med/surg holds, with float capabilities to Med/Surg or ER
• Valid Oklahoma state nursing license or compact licensure
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification (preferred but not required for review)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in cardiac stepdown or cardiovascular units
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule and work in a fast-paced environment
