Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shift, 36 hours/week, with every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care primarily on the Medical-Surgical unit with occasional float to other units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and Emergency Department/Med-Surg boarders
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Cover assigned units while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care
• Adhere to all unit protocols and clinical guidelines
• Ensure accurate documentation using Epic EMR system
Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum of 3 years recent/current Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required
• Proficiency in Epic EMR (refresher courses or 1:1 training not available)
• Ability to read telemetry strips; competency will be tested on day one
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in cardiac or step-down units preferred
• Ability to float across various medical-surgical units as needed
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
