Key Responsibilities
- Operate Siemens CT scanner to perform a variety of adult and pediatric outpatient imaging procedures.
- Prepare and administer contrast media safely according to department protocols.
- Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and radiation safety standards.
- Starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture for contrast administration.
- Conduct advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
- Perform various CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, carotid, trauma head, cervical, lumbar, and musculoskeletal trauma scans.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification in CT
- Current BLS certification
- Ohio state licensure for radiologic technologists
- Experience operating Siemens CT scanners
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior outpatient imaging experience with adult and pediatric patients
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic documentation system
- Knowledge of advanced imaging techniques and trauma imaging protocols
