Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, nights, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency social work services within an acute hospital setting
• Collaborate with medical and clinical teams to support patient care needs
• Manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced, trauma-level environment
• Document patient interactions using electronic health records (Epic)
• Assist in discharge planning and resource coordination for patients
• Float within scope to meet facility requirements as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Alaska LMSW or LCSW license (Pending license accepted)
• At least 1 year of acute care or emergency room experience
• Must be able to work night shift on a 12-hour schedule
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a hospital environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in trauma or emergency settings preferred
• Familiarity with hospital electronic health records (Epic)
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with flexibility
