- Full-time, Contract, Travel, Days shift, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including SPECT stress tests, bone scans, HIDA scans, lung perfusions, amyloid scans, renal flow scans, MUGA scans, and more.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as GE Discovery/Xeleris and GE Ventri/Xeleris systems.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to safety protocols during procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver accurate diagnostic images and data.
- Maintain documentation within the Meditech EMR system according to unit guidelines.
- Provide on-call support as required, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) license.
- Texas Medical Board (TMB) license.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Cardiac imaging and general nuclear medicine experience.
- PET scan experience (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with hospital and clinic equipment, including GE systems.
