Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13 or 26-week contract, day shifts, 4x10-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in epic cardiology procedures within the electrophysiology (EP) lab and cath lab settings
- Support patient care during procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols
- Maintain and operate specialized EP and cath lab equipment
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including cath lab coverage as required
- Adhere to on-call requirements, including 3 nights per week, no weekends unless opting for call shifts
- Follow all facility policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in cath lab or EP setting
- Certification: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RRT
- Must meet all skills requirements per organizational standards (e.g., based on UD, McKesson)
- Willingness to train and develop into EP tech role
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Level II trauma or Magnet hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Strong knowledge of cath lab and EP procedures and equipment
