Schedule / Job Type
- 13 or 26-week assignments, full-time, day shifts, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, on-call and weekend rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in a Magnet-designated hospital
- Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
- Collaborate with medical teams to deliver quality care and support during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Document patient information accurately using Epic electronic health record system
- Participate in on-call duties, including occasional weekend coverage
Required Qualifications
- Valid Alaska registered nursing license (must be in hand for auto-offer)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a cardiac cath lab or EP setting
- Ability to work flexible scheduling, including on-call and weekend shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a Level II Trauma or Magnet hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Willingness to float within scope to assist other departments as needed
