Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound procedures in OB/GYN settings under the supervision of a radiologist or physician.
- Conduct ultrasound exams in ambulatory or hospital environments as ordered by healthcare providers.
- Ensure procedures are performed in accordance with established protocols to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries.
- Maintain proper documentation and follow safety standards during all procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and accurate diagnostic results.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of relevant ultrasound experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- RDMS-OB Certified or equivalent registry in OB/GYN sonography (e.g., ARDMS-OB, RDMS-OB).
- Registration with recognized professional bodies such as ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI in relevant specialties.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with OB/GYN ultrasound procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of hospital and outpatient clinic environments.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
