Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology Lab.
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures such as heart caths, PCIs, TAVRs, Watchman, MitralClip, and vascular access.
- Support complex cases including CTO, PFO/ASD, and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, adhering to clinical protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with post-procedure patient care.
- Comply with all licensing, certification, and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina or multi-state compact nursing license.
- At least 1 year of cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology nursing experience.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Radiation safety badge (must be provided by agency).
- Ability to work 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM).
- Willingness to be on-call 1-2 nights per week, one weekend every six weeks, with possible holiday call.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior scrub experience in cardiac or vascular cases.
- Familiarity with advanced cardiac procedures such as TAVR, PFO/ASD closures, and complex PCI.
- Experience with hybrid OR environments.
