Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, primarily day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients within a busy hospital environment
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
- Perform patient assessments, document findings, and communicate updates to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Louisiana
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment and telemetry rhythm interpretation skills
- Minimum of 1 year of recent med-surg/telemetry experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and adapt to hospital protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced cardiac monitoring technology
- Knowledge of hospital electronic health records, specifically Meditech
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and teamwork
