Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Circulate and scrub as needed, ensuring a sterile and safe environment for patients.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including trauma and other specialties.
• Cover 2-3 major holidays per scheduling requirements.
• Maintain current certifications and compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Indiana state nursing license in hand (no pending licenses accepted).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of OR nursing experience, including trauma Level I experience.
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Experience with trauma, neuro, ortho, GYN, general, plastics, ENT, GU, colorectal, and robotics preferred.
• Circulating skills required; scrub experience preferred.
• Willingness to float within scope and adapt to various unit needs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner charting system.
• Prior trauma and Level I experience highly valued.
• Well-rounded OR background with current skills in multiple specialties.
• Flexibility to float to different units as needed.
