Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, contract, nights shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population, including neonates to geriatrics.
• Assist in managing high-acuity cases in a Level I Trauma and Pediatric ED setting.
• Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and manage IV lines and blood products.
• Perform procedures such as arterial/central line management, blood draws, and procedural sedation.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and ABGs, and care for ventilated patients.
• Support patients with trauma, stroke, neuro, ortho, and pediatric emergencies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, CPI, PALS, TNCC, ATCS.
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a Level I Trauma or Pediatric ED.
• Experience with critical care skills such as IV sedation and blood product administration.
• Ability to manage complex cases like neuro, trauma, or pediatric emergencies.
• Must have TNCC or ATCS certification at the time of submission.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs, and manage ventilated patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a STEMI & Stroke Certified Facility.
• Knowledge of Omnicell, Epic, and SBAR systems.
• Previous experience with pediatric head injury, near drowning, or spinal cord injuries.
• Skilled in trauma procedures, arterial line management, and blood transfusions.
