Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Manage high-risk antepartum patients and perform relevant procedures such as C-sections and cerclage.
- Circulate C-section surgeries and assist with labor management.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Document patient care accurately in EMR systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive maternal care.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license with at least 1 year of labor and delivery experience.
- Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
- Ability to manage high-risk antepartum and labor patients.
- Experience with OBED circulate C-sections and managing COVID-positive patients in labor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate great teamwork.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced family medicine skills.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically CPN and Meditech.
- Comfortable working with high patient acuity in a busy Labor and Delivery setting.
