Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type:
Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient conditions
- Assist with procedures such as wound care, tube feedings, and IV placement
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical records system
Required Qualifications:
- Valid state RN license
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Ability to work night shifts and handle a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Experience with procedures like PICC line placement, chest tube management, and wound care
- Outgoing personality and strong team collaboration skills
