Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the EMR system.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and ensure safety standards are maintained.
- Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor to support patient well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Certification (NIHSS).
- At least 1 year of recent experience in an IMCU or telemetry setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification.
- Prior travel nurse experience.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
