Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shifts, 8 hours per shift (07:30 - 16:00), Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities
• Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures, including scrubbing and circulating in IR/Cath Lab settings.
• Support in performing procedures such as EKG lead placement, and assist with specialty procedures like vascular, EP, and interventional radiology treatments.
• Ensure readiness of specialized equipment such as GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, and other advanced imaging and procedural systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols, administer medications as directed by RN, and ensure proper procedure documentation.
• Participate in unit orientation and training, including Dimensions training, to become fully qualified for unit procedures and protocols.
• Support urgent and emergent cardiology and IR procedures, including responding promptly to callback calls for STEMIs and other critical interventions.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in IR/Special Procedures or similar settings.
• Certified in scrubbing and circulating procedures within a Cardiology/IR environment.
• Must have IR experience, with at least 90% of duties involving interventional radiology procedures.
• Valid certifications such as ACLS, BCLS, and either ARRT or RCIS (or equivalent).

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience performing EKG lead placement and other diagnostic procedures.
• Additional certifications such as ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, or RCIS with Med Experience are a plus.
• Familiarity with advanced equipment like Impella, IABP, and Ultrasound units.
