Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Contract (minimum 13 weeks), onsite

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and supplies for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and surgical team during procedures across various specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, Podiatry, Urology, and Dental
• Ensure compliance with safety and sterilization protocols
• Maintain a sterile environment and assist with patient positioning and equipment setup
• Support postoperative cleanup and documentation as needed
• Participate in on-call rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Required Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Surgical Technologist Certification (preferred)
• Must be a mandatory reporter with the State of Iowa
• Ability to stay within 30 minutes of the facility when on-call
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, podiatry, urology, or dental procedures
• Familiarity with surgical instrumentation and sterile techniques
• Ability to adapt to varying schedules and on-call responsibilities
