Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shift, rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations and patient needs
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or cardiac care
- Knowledge of telemetry equipment and cardiac monitoring techniques
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a hospital telemetry unit
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
