Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Schedule / Job Type: Part-time, Days shifts, 8 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care and support to patients in the ER setting.
• Read and interpret rhythms; pass hospital proctored rhythm identification test with at least 80% accuracy.
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic charting system.
• Administer medications via Omnicell-Med system and perform telemetry monitoring.
• Follow infection control protocols, including flu vaccine compliance.
• Float to other units as needed based on skill set and staffing needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid NY Registered Nurse license in hand.
• Minimum of 5 years current ER experience preferred.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• NIH stroke certification preferred.
• Ability to read rhythms and pass rhythm identification test.
• Experience with EPIC charting and Omnicell-Med system.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• ACLS certification.
• Triage Level 1 trauma experience.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring.
