Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location
- Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, contract for 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform IV starts
- Use electronic medical records systems, including EPIC, for documentation and orders
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, including float staff, to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Follow established protocols, including self-scheduling and unit orientation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with some traveler experience accepted
- Valid BCLS certification
- Must have EPIC experience
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS and NIH certifications preferred
- Experience with IV starts and telemetry monitoring
