Registered Nurse - PACU

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, day shift, rotating shifts (5:00 AM - 5:30 PM and 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM), includes weekend calls every third week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide post-anesthesia care in a PACU setting for surgical patients
• Monitor and assess patient recovery following procedures like CABG, AVR, TAVR, fem-pop/fem-tib-peroneal bypass, angiograms, pulmonary decortication, and ablations
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver safe and effective patient care
• Manage patient cases requiring Level 1 trauma and outpatient services
• Document patient progress using electronic health records with Epic experience
• Handle patient ratios of 1:1 for individualized care

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a surgical or PACU setting
• Valid BLS certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health records
• Pre/Post-operative care experience
• Ability to work rotating day shifts
• Prior charge nurse or leadership experience (preferred)

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• ACLS certification
• Experience in Level 1 trauma and outpatient units
• PACU-specific experience
