Job Title

• Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shifts, 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in an acute care setting
• Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with medical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately using electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Acute care experience preferred
• Experience with inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) and familiarity with MBS and FEE's training highly desirable
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in Level III Trauma Centers or similar settings
• Fast learner with the ability to adapt to different clinical units
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hospital environment
