Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shifts, 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in an acute care setting
- Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with medical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient progress accurately using electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Acute care experience preferred
- Experience with inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) and familiarity with MBS and FEE's training highly desirable
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in Level III Trauma Centers or similar settings
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt to different clinical units
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hospital environment
