Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring patient safety and care continuity.
- Flexibly work scheduled rotating shifts, including nights and holidays, as required.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Vermont.
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS certifications.
- NIHSS and TNCC certifications (proof required prior to start).
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience, preferably in large, teaching facilities.
- EPIC EMR system experience within the past 2 years.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; experience in facilities with 500+ beds is a plus.
- Flexibility to work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Additional certifications such as CEN, ENPC, MOAB, or de-escalation training (e.g., CPS).
- Experience working in a facility with diverse patient populations and complex cases.

Additional Information
- Duration: 16 to 32 weeks, starting December 1.
- Travel rate: $105 per hour; local rate: $95; radius rate: $100.
- Shifts are 12 hours, scheduled three days per week, with no block schedules.
- Bi-weekly orientation sessions; next available date: December 15.
- Reliable transportation required; personal or rental vehicle recommended, especially from November through April.
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained in application.
- Complete work history details are mandatory for submission, including facility type, bed count, EMR system, etc.
