- Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment with nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment following established policies and procedures.
- Verify patient identity, review medical records, and obtain or update medical history to ensure exam appropriateness.
- Explain procedures, risks, benefits, and post-care instructions to patients.
- Set up imaging equipment, acquire diagnostic images, and review images for initial observations.
- Communicate with radiologists, document exceptions, and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide imaging education to staff and trainees.
- May be required to perform Radiologic Technologist duties or take call/standby shifts.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in CT and Radiology (must be attached to submission).
- BLS certification (must be through the American Heart Association).
- Minimum of 2 years recent CT and Radiology experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with GE CT and X-ray machines.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting, particularly in community hospital environments.
- Experience with night shift schedules.
