Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week contract, nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Neuro Medical/Surgical unit.
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and utilize various medical equipment.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as required.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Follow unit policies, safety procedures, and infection control protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Current RNs with valid licensure in Texas or appropriate state.
- BLS certification required.
- IV Certification for LPNs.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification.
- Experience with stroke NIH protocols, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
