• Full-time, 13-week contract, Day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), on-site
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized telemetry nursing care to adult patients with cardiac monitoring needs.
• Collect and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to abnormal findings, and adjust care accordingly.
• Administer medications, including cardiac drips, and assist with procedures such as stress tests, heart catheterizations, and thoracentesis.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies, maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Required Qualifications
• Valid and current CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience.
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Respiratory care experience, including oxygen management and advanced airway procedures.
• Ability to manage and titrate cardiac drips.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• ACLS or ALS certification.
• Experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, and Emergency Department settings.
• Knowledge of procedures such as stress testing, PCI, CABG, chest tubes, and paracentesis.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
