Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled patients to maximize their functional status.
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs for hospitalized patients.
- Participate in discharge planning and perform administrative duties related to therapy services.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Pursue ongoing professional growth and adhere to facility standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Idaho Occupational Therapy license (must be attached to resume).
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be attached to submission packet).
- Minimum of 2 years recent hospital-based occupational therapy experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a community hospital setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to float to inpatient settings when census is low.
