Registered Nurse Hospice
Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts (7pm-7am), rotating days of the week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, holistic end-of-life care to patients in a home-like short-term setting
- Assess and manage symptoms with excellence in assessment and critical thinking
- Educate patients and caregivers on care goals, fostering confidence and understanding
- Deliver comprehensive physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support
- Collaborate with the team to ensure personalized patient care and meet individual needs
- Participate in on-call rotation (2 shifts/month), including holidays and weekends
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in medical-surgical, ICU, ER, or other acute settings (hospice experience preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to participate in on-call, holiday, and weekend rotations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hospice care experience beneficial but not required
- Experience with symptom management and end-of-life care
- Ability to assess complex patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans
