Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to ICU patients within a Level II Trauma and Pediatric Trauma Center setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, executing physician orders and treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Float between units as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records using Epic system
- Support patient recovery and ensure the highest standards of care in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience; first-time ICU RNs are welcome
- Ability to work a schedule that includes every other weekend
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in trauma or pediatric ICU settings is a plus
- Experience working with Epic electronic health records
- Adaptability to working in a teaching hospital environment
