- Full-time, night shifts, acute care hospital
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill patients in a combined CVICU and ICU unit.
- Monitor patient statuses closely, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately using hospital charting systems.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and adjust care as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and clinical protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU or CVICU experience.
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California (or ability to obtain promptly).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- NIH stroke certification preferred but not required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with cardiac patients or specialized cardiac care.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
