Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Mother Baby/Postpartum

- Charlottesville, VA
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday), with availability to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays; cannot have Christmas off (12/24-12/25)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical review and provide patient care for postpartum and antepartum patients
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal maternal and newborn outcomes
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards, including BLS and NRPC certifications
- Manage patient needs efficiently during 12-hour shifts in a postpartum setting
- Support patient education and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
- Valid VA nursing license (can submit with pending license)
- BLS certification
- NRPC certification
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and cover weekend and holiday rotations
- Willingness to work 36 hours per week with flexible RTO approval
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in Mother Baby or postpartum nursing preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment
