• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry of a designated "Pod" of patients in the Central Monitoring Unit.
• Continuously observe and interpret cardiac rhythms and oxygenation levels using Philips monitoring equipment.
• Communicate with bedside teams via phone, Vocera, and paging systems to relay critical information.
• Ensure timely responses to cardiac events, including code alerts and alarms.
• Collaborate with the central monitoring team across multiple patient divisions within the health system.
• Safely manage patient data and documentation using the EPIC charting system.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry monitoring experience.
• Certified in BLS.
• Ability to pass advanced EKG Relias exam and onsite EKG exam.
• Experience with Philips monitoring equipment and remote telemetry systems.
• Valid license accepted with no more than 7 days of RTO restrictions.
• Willingness to work rotating weekends on an every-other-week basis.
• Must be within 75 miles of the facility (local candidates not required).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a high-volume, acute care hospital setting.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records.
• Strong communication skills for effective bedside and team communication.
