• Full-time, 13 or 26 weeks assignments, 36 or 48 hours per week, night shifts, no remote options, no block scheduling

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for critically ill patients with complex needs.
• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias, monitor and titrate IV medications, and utilize advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment such as CVP, pulmonary artery lines, and arterial lines.
• Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, respiratory failure, and post-transplant or post-operative patients.
• Administer blood products, perform phlebotomy, wound care, and manage ventilated patients including ventilator settings and ABG interpretation.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols, use PPE effectively, and ensure patient safety in a high-acuity environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Missouri or multi-state privilege.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, including Medical and Surgical ICU settings.
• proficiency in dysrhythmia management, invasive monitoring, and ventilator management.
• Ability to interpret ABGs and manage complex patient conditions.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with CRRT/dialysis, VADs, and neuro-critical care.
• Prior experience in a Magnet or Level I Trauma Center.
• Knowledge of advanced cardiac and respiratory equipment.
