Registered Nurse ICU

Job Title

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive care to adult patients in the ICU, including those with respiratory failure, ARDS, sepsis, cardiac issues, strokes, and multi-organ failure
• Monitor and interpret invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic measures such as CVP, pulmonary artery lines, and arterial lines
• Administer medications, blood products, and manage IVs, including titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Maintain ventilator management, assist with airway management including suctioning and BIPAP support
• Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, wound care, and interpreting ABGs
• Follow infection prevention protocols and utilize PPE appropriately

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Experience in ICU settings, specifically Medical or Surgical ICU
• Knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Ability to work independently with a patient ratio of 1:2

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with complex patient diagnoses such as multi-organ failure, post-transplant, and end-of-life care
• Familiarity with hospital equipment like CRRT, dialysis, defibrillators, and invasive monitoring devices
