• Days, full-time, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in performing cardiovascular surgical procedures in a 13-room operating room
• Ensure proper setup and maintenance of surgical equipment, including DaVinci robots
• Float to general OR cases as needed, supporting multiple surgical specialties excluding transplants
• Adhere to all certification and skillset requirements, maintaining a sterile environment
• Support perioperative team with patient care before, during, and after procedures
Required Qualifications
• Current BCLS and NBSTSA certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of perioperative or surgical technology experience
• Ability to float between cases, including general surgeries and specialized CVOR procedures
• Proficiency with advanced surgical equipment, including Xi DaVinci robots
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in cardiothoracic surgical settings
• Familiarity with high-acuity surgical environments and multi-specialty ORs
