• Full-time, nights shifts, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday, ongoing

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a busy, large hospital environment, including head-to-toe assessments, medication administration via various routes, care plan development and documentation, and wound/line/drain care.
• Float across multiple MedSurg units including oncology, trauma, cardiac, neuro, and behavioral health, providing flexible support across departments.
• Utilize Epic EMR, Accudose Rx, Alaris IV pumps, and Philips vitals machines to deliver efficient patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including badge in/out protocols, and maintain compliance with facility policies.
• Participate in orientation, unit training, and team collaboration to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Active ND RN license or Compact state license.
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med Surg experience in a large hospital environment (200+ beds).
• BLS certification through AHA.
• EPIC EMR experience.
• Willingness to float within MedSurg departments and between campuses.
• Experience working in a Level 2 or higher trauma center.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Float Pool experience preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced hospital settings with 250+ beds.
• Experience with oncology, neuro, and critical care units.
