Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during GI and Endoscopy procedures in a fast-paced procedural environment.
- Provide recovery and PACU care for patients following GI and Endoscopy procedures, including moderate sedation administration.
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols, including EKG monitoring.
- Support the peri-procedural process from admission to recovery, maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Participate in scheduled orientation and comply with all licensing and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in GI Lab and Endoscopy procedures, including PACU, admission, and recovery.
- CPR and ACLS certifications.
- Epic EMR experience.
- Ability to pass an EKG test with an 80% score or higher on the first day.
- Familiarity with Olympus scopes and endoscopy supplies.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience handling 30-60 cases per day.
- Knowledge of endoscopy equipment from various manufacturers.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- No floating, weekend, or holiday shifts required.
