Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery or procedures in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in condition promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assess patient recovery and readiness for transfer or discharge.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in post-anesthesia or PACU nursing preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a surgical or recovery unit.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
